SOS FORGING A SMART FUTURE: Bilateral Agreements Signed at 2026 Nehemiah Impact Gala in Malaysia

In a landmark moment for the “Smart City Revolution,” Smart Optimal Solutions (SOS) has officially entered into two strategic bilateral agreements with leading Malaysian technology firms to integrate their cutting-edge solutions into the SOS Smart City Eco System.

The Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) were signed on May 16, 2026, during the prestigious Impact Gala Dinner hosted by the Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community at the St. Giles Wembley Hotel in Penang, Malaysia. The signing was held in the presence of the Honorable YB Goh Choon Aik, State Executive Councillor (EXCO) for Trade and Community Unity of Malaysia, Susan Schramm, Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community board chair, and several Malaysian and International business leaders who witnessed the formalization of these global partnerships.

“Today marks more than the signing of an agreement. It marks a milestone in the relationship, trust, and shared opportunity between Malaysia and the United States. It highlights an example of WIN/WIN trade, which is ultimately about people, trust, and long-term collaboration”.  Susan Schramm, Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community Board Chair.

Strategic Collaboration: Integrating the SOS Eco System

These agreements represent a major leap in SOS’s mission to deliver integrated, sustainable infrastructure. The collaborations focus on two key technology domains:

  • Karuna Integrated Technology (Sarawak): SOS and Karuna will collaborate on the deployment and commercialisation of smart city ecosystems, including digital twin platforms, integrated operations command centres (IOCC), and citizen-facing mobile applications.
  • Swift Bridge Technologies (SBTMFG): SOS will act as the Exclusive Distributor for SBTMFG’s EV Charging products in the United States. These chargers will be integrated with Karuna operating software, ensuring a seamless, smart user experience for the North American market.

A Visionary Venue: The Nehemiah Impact Gala

The signing took place during the Impact Gala, the centerpiece of the Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community Best Practice and Tour Conference.

The Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community is a Vancouver, Washington based non-profit sister company of SOS. It is dedicated to training and coaching entrepreneurs to build “transformational businesses” that adhere to the quadruple bottom line:

  1. People: Empowering communities and providing dignity.
  2. Planet: Advancing renewable energy and environmental stewardship.
  3. Profit: Ensuring sustainable, scalable economic growth.
  4. Purpose: Operating with biblical principles and values-based leadership.

This was more than a celebration; it was a collaborative forum designed to explore how we can better serve regional entrepreneurs through ethical trade and technology transfer.

“This agreement marks a historic milestone: the first export of Malaysian-made EV chargers to the United States as well as a demonstration of Malaysia engineering capabilities and contribution to the Smart City Revolution”.  Honorable YB Goh Choon Aik, State Executive Councillor (EXCO) for Trade and Community Unity of Malaysia

The SOS Edge

By merging Malaysian technical expertise with SOS’s global distribution network, these agreements facilitate the first major export of localized Malaysia EV charging and smart city technology to the U.S. market. For our partners in government, developers, and urban planning, this means access to infrastructure that is not just “smart,” but affordable, globally proven, and ethically sourced.
