SOS Global Foundation

The SOS Foundation was established to fulfill the original purpose behind the creation of SOS: to serve as an economic engine to fund ministries and nonprofit organizations.

Bill Gibbons and Patrice Tsague, both leaders of their own respective nonprofit organizations and board members of many others, were deeply frustrated by the lack of resources available to support these organizations. Determined to address this challenge, they leveraged their entrepreneurial skills and relationships to create a for-profit company designed not only to reward investors but also to generate sustainable profits to fund nonprofit organizations and ministries.

Every investor, partner, and team member of SOS has committed to this same mandate, ensuring that the organization remains focused on its mission to support the common good.

The SOS Common Good Initiative helps nonprofit organizations generate income to support their operations or special projects by:

  • Referring their members, donors, and stakeholders to purchase SOS products and services.
  • Receiving 10% of the net sales from these referrals as a donation.
  • Benefiting from a 10% discount on SOS products and services.

Additionally, participating nonprofits are eligible for the SOS Grant Program, offering further financial support. Every nonprofit partner is assigned to an SOS sales team member for ongoing support and guidance on how to take full advantage of the program and get the maximum contribution for its mission.

The SOS Grant Program is funded through:

  • 10% of the net profit from SOS Global, its subsidiaries, and other support from vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Contributions generated through the SOS Common Good Initiative.

Grants are provided by invitation only to nonprofit partners, to support their operations and special projects aligned with the foundation’s mission.
