SOS Global Foundation
The SOS Global Foundation is the philanthropic arm of SOS Global, funded through:
- 10% of the net profit of SOS Global and its subsidiaries.
- Additional contributions from partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Strategic opportunities created through the SOS business model and network.
Mission
The mission of the SOS Global Foundation is to support partner nonprofits and ministries dedicated to the common good and the spiritual, social, environmental, and economic development of communities and nations.
History
The SOS Foundation was established to fulfill the original purpose behind the creation of SOS: to serve as an economic engine to fund ministries and nonprofit organizations.
Bill Gibbons and Patrice Tsague, both leaders of their own respective nonprofit organizations and board members of many others, were deeply frustrated by the lack of resources available to support these organizations. Determined to address this challenge, they leveraged their entrepreneurial skills and relationships to create a for-profit company designed not only to reward investors but also to generate sustainable profits to fund nonprofit organizations and ministries.
Every investor, partner, and team member of SOS has committed to this same mandate, ensuring that the organization remains focused on its mission to support the common good.
