A Night of Gratitude and Vision: SOS Celebrates its 2nd Annual Christmas Gala

Building a Smarter Future, One Connection at a Time

The air was filled with the spirit of the season as Smart Optimal Solutions (SOS) hosted its 2nd Annual Christmas Celebration. The evening brought together approximately 50 guests, including the dedicated staff of SOS and its subsidiaries, NetZero Energy LLC and Kendu Construction, alongside our valued investors, partners, clients, and friends.

The gala was more than just a holiday gathering; it marked the one-year anniversary of the merger between SOS and NetZero. This milestone serves as a powerful symbol of our gratitude for the impact we have made this year and the expansive opportunities that lie ahead for our global renewable technology family.

An Evening of Reflection and Purpose

The festivities began with the elegant sounds of a live piano, setting a sophisticated backdrop for networking and fellowship. Bill Gibbons, Board Chair, officially opened the evening with a moving prayer and an exhortation from Scripture, grounding the celebration in faith and purpose.

CEO Patrice Tsague then took the stage to share a message of vision and stewardship:

  • Business as a Force for Good: Patrice reaffirmed that SOS exists to ensure innovation serves people and sustainability honors creation, moving beyond profit to leave a lasting legacy.
  • A Year of Alignment: He highlighted 2025 as a year of significant growth, where the company strengthened partnerships and took bold steps toward building smarter, connected communities
  • Heartfelt Gratitude: Patrice offered special thanks to his wife for her unwavering belief, to the Executive members for their trust, and to the staff and investors for their excellence and shared vision.

“Christmas reminds us that the greatest gifts are not systems or solutions, but people, purpose, and hope.” — Patrice Tsague, CEO

Honoring Our People

As guests enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner, the evening turned toward honoring those who have shaped our journey. VP of Operations, Barry Redman, led a special tribute to Kitty Rankin, who has served our subsidiary, NetZero, for five years. Though Kitty is retiring due to health and distance, she was celebrated with a gift basket and a heartfelt “thank you” for her years of dedication and sacrifice.

The keynote of the evening was delivered by Col. Jeff Williams, who provided a powerful Christmas message. Through Old and New Testament scriptures, he illustrated the case for Christ as the true Son of God, bringing the room back to the “reason for the season.”

Looking Toward the Future

The celebration concluded with a joyful choral performance of traditional Christmas carols and a closing prayer. As we reflect on being named one of the 2025 Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies, we are reminded that our success is built on the strength of Christ and our relationships.

From the entire team at Smart Optimal Solutions, Smart Oregon Solutions, SOS America, SOS Netzero and SOS Kendu we wish you a Merry Christmas. May you enjoy time with your families and find hope in the year to come.
